THE CRISIS WE FACE

HUMAN TRAFFICKING
Modern slavery thrives in the shadows of our cities and across our borders.

- Human trafficking is a R150 billion criminal industry, second only to drug trafficking.
- South Africa is both a source and destination country for trafficked victims, including children and migrants.
Victims are exploited for sex, labor, and profit. Traffickers target the poor, the unprotected, and the voiceless. The system profits from their vulnerability.
